## Maintenance

- Aug 13, 9:14 AM — Dear Clients and Partners,

In the near future, we plan to introduce a major upgrade to WhiteBIT’s trading infrastructure. This update will further align the exchange with the technological and operational standards of the world’s leading trading platforms.

As part of the upgrade, **WebSocket Trading (will be available for use from 02.09)** and the **Mark Price** metric will become available on the platform, helping improve trading efficiency, transparency, and reliability.
  > With WebSocket Trading, users will be able to send commands to place and cancel orders directly via a WebSocket connection. This will reduce the number of intermediate HTTP requests and minimize latency when managing orders. **Will be available for use from 02.09**

In addition, WhiteBIT will begin using Mark Price across all PERP markets. Mark Price will be used to calculate PnL, check margin, and determine liquidation conditions.
  > Mark Price is a calculated price based on an aggregated index, making these calculations less dependent on short-term price fluctuations on a single trading platform. This will help make position valuation more objective and reduce the impact of short-term fluctuations in the order book, while trades will continue to be executed at the price formed in the order book.

Once the maintenance is complete, corresponding notifications will be published to confirm the end of the maintenance window.

  Thank you for your attention!

- Apr 19, 2:42 PM — `Release Notes`:
Auto-Deleveraging (ADL) and Reduce-only – features designed to help you manage risk more precisely and make trading more predictable.

  > ADL is triggered only under extreme market conditions – during flash crashes or sharp volatility spikes. It helps stabilize the market and properly close positions when standard liquidation is insufficient.

  > Reduce-only is about control without compromise: an order can only reduce or close a position, without increasing it or opening a new one in the opposite direction. Especially important when you have multiple orders running simultaneously.

Two new tools for better control while trading – coming soon!
